What data we collect

We may collect the following personal data when you interact with our website:

  • Contact form submissions: Name, email address, company name, phone number, and any information you provide in your message. Our contact form is powered by Typeform, which processes data according to its own privacy policy.
  • Analytics data: We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-focused, self-hosted analytics tool. Umami collects anonymous usage data (pages visited, referral source, device type, approximate location at country level). It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites. All data is aggregated and anonymous.
  • Theme preference: Your light/dark mode choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is never sent to our servers.

Why we collect your data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to inquiries: When you contact us through our website, we use your data to respond to your request.
  • To improve our website: We use anonymous analytics data to understand how visitors use our site and improve the user experience.
  • To send communications: Only if you have explicitly consented, we may send you information about our services.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your data based on:

  • Legitimate interest: For anonymous website analytics and improving our services.
  • Consent: For contact form submissions and any marketing communications.
  • Contractual necessity: When processing is required to fulfill a service agreement.

Data retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, or as required by law. Contact form data is retained for a maximum of 24 months unless a business relationship is established.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase your data (right to be forgotten)
  • Restrict processing of your data
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Data portability to receive your data in a structured format
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at rafael.cosquiere@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

  • Service providers: Typeform (contact forms) and hosting providers that help us operate the website. These providers are bound by data processing agreements.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.

International transfers

If your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
